The Consultation
Your skin will be evaluated by a licensed esthetician, and you will be asked about your skin care goals. If appropriate, a program of treatments will be offered to you and a complete medical history will be taken. The cost of the care will be explained and you will be given a consent form to read and sign before your sessions begin.
How Does It Work?
Microdermabrasion uses Corundum crystals or a diamond wand to aggressively exfoliate away the dull layer of dead skin. A slight vacuum removes the exfoliated cells and corundum crystals. Microdermabrasion leaves your skin smooth, retexturized, soft and glowing.
Microdermabrasion is ideal for:
- Acne-scarring, fine lines and uneven pigmentation
- Deep exfoliation in conjunction with a facial or a peel
- Deep exfoliation between IPL Skin rejuvenation treatments
What To Expect
The session begins with a gentle cleansing and toning for your skin. The microderm wand exfoliates the top layer of skin revealing softer, newer skin below. A cool towel wrap is applied to the treated area following the exfoliation to assist your skin in recovery. A Copper Peptide lotion is then applied to help stimulate collagen production followed by an application of sunscreen.
Your esthetician will recommend skin care products for your home care to assist your skin's recovery process as well as products to maintain the benefits between your sessions.

- Avoid sun exposure & tanning beds for 1 week prior to your appointment.
- Avoid using Retin-A or retinol products for at least 72 hours prior to your appointment.
Post Treatment Instructions
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 72 hours.
- Daily use of a sun screen with spf 30 or higher.
